A Symbol of Easter:The Ocotillo Cactus

I hope you all had a happy Easter weekend! I know I did! : )                                                  The Ocotillo Cactus (below) was used as the crown of thorns for the crucifixion of Christ. The Ocotillo only grows in Israel and here in the Southwestern United States! I found it fascinating that the Ocotillo Cactus bloom’s are red (representing blood)…. and have bloomed just in time for Easter!
